Intelligent Systems and Software Engineering Lab (ISSEL)

The Intelligent Systems and Software Engineering Labgroup (ISSEL) belongs to the Information Processing Laboratory (IPL) of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The team is involved in research in the following areas:

Databases and knowledge discovery
Intelligent agents
E-Commerce
Bioinformatics
Enviromatics
Semantic web
Software engineering

ISSEL closely collaborates with the Informatics and Telematics Institute (ITI). ITI is one of the Institutes of CERTH (Centre for Research and Technology Hellas), an independent research center funded by the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT), of the Greek Ministry of Development.
