Multimedia Understanding Group (MUG) is directed by Prof. Anastasios Delopoulos and it is a part of the Information Processing Laboratory of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. MUG is active in the areas of:

• Intelligent image and video processing and analysis
• Multiple-cue human-computer interaction
• Semantic analysis of multimedia documents
• Content-based retrieval of multimedia information
• Computer vision
• Biomedical signal and image processing
